During the month of May, our parish invited children to enter a Marian Contest that involved the following theme:

"Devotion to Mary Leads to the Imitation of Christ"

John Dom decided to bake the two-hearts chocolate chip cookie cake with white and dark chocolate almond icing, along with 'no-chocolate-chip cookies.

The motto reads around his cake reads:

"Jesus without Mary is like Chocolate Chip Cookies without Chocolate Chips.  
He won first prize for the baking entries.   

Marianna entered this picture using pastels and pencil.  
She won third place. 

What a marvelous inspiration for those who are teaching children 
to invite them to show their love of our Blessed Mother 

by sponsoring a contest for them to show their artistic talents.
