2014 Our Year of Faith in Review
Fall |
Winter |
Over this past year, the four seasons were so vibrant and extraordinary on the Mulberry River where we live. We share some of the beauty we have encountered with you all, as we offer thanks for the faithfulness of God, revealed through His creation uniquely made manifest with each passing season.
We have been richly blessed by the family faith life over this past year.
Whether we gathered for the May Crowning, the Corpus Christi procession,
park days, children celebrations or First Saturday Holy Hour, the gift of faith was ours to receive and share through God’s loving providence. I put a movie together of the beautiful faith life we share. If you click on the link you can see the beauty of this place at dawn and dusk, especially during Advent and Christmas.

Over this past year, the Sacramental life defined our family reunions, as we gathered to celebrate the baptism of our fourth grand baby, Liam Xavier;
and the holy matrimony of our second son and his beautiful bride, Heather Ann. We
lived in Oklahoma for eight years before moving away seven years ago. When we moved, our oldest two sons remained to finish their college
degrees. Ryan met beautiful Heather in college there, and remains in
Oklahoma to this day.
Returning to Oklahoma, where our two youngest children were born, brought back fond memories and these very special mother friends in my life. What brought us all together in the beginning years, back in 1999, was our motherhood and our shared faith life. We shared home schooling, many family gatherings, and the sacramental life together. Some of us shared pregnancies and the glorious days when our children were born. I am so honored to stand with these mother-friends, who have witnessed to me the beauty of motherhood and the faithfulness of being daughters of our Loving Father.The seven of us have thirty-eight children on this side of life and nine + grandchildren.I am so thankful to you all for coming to Ryan's wedding and spending the evening with our family, once again. It was a gift to share two Holy Masses, at the wedding and then at Saint Monica's on Sunday. You are sempermoms and I am grateful for the prayer life we have shared over the years and for all the years to come.
For the gift of faith that we first received from our parents;
daily through the hands of our holy priests;
and perpetually through the prayers of our holy nuns,
we offer thanksgiving through our family Rosary and the holy Mass.
Faith, hope and charity to all in the New Year.
