Our Lady, Undoer of Knots Our prayer intention for Ryan and Heather: |
"May they live long, blessed lives together.
May they build a family rooted in faith and unconditional love."

Heather and Ryan Chose for their Second Reading
Corinthians 12:31;13:8
But earnestly desire the higher gifts.
And I will show you a still more excellent way.
Love never ends;
as for prophecies, they will pass away
as for tongues, they will cease;
as for knowledge,it will pass away.
For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect;
but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away.
When I was a child, I spoke like a child,
I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child;
when I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face.
Now I know in part; then I shall understand fully,
even as I have benn fully understood.
So faith, hope, love abide, these three;
but the greatest of these is love.

Preparation Prayer
O Blessed Mother, who in submission to God,
lived a life of humility and service, visit me with your grace.
Through your intercession, instill in my heart
a love for all members of the human family,
Especially those whom I have the most trouble loving
and those whom I have the most trouble serving.
help me to untie the knots that bind your children on Earth.
Through prayer and service to others,
May I live according to your example
and be brought ever closer to your Son, Jesus.
Sixth Day
Praying for the unbelieving
Job 12:7-10
"Even birds and animals have much they could teach you;
ask the creatures of earth and sea for their wisdom.
All of them know that the Lord's hand made them.
It is God who directs the lives of His creatures;
everyone's life is in his power."
Daily Intention
ask the creatures of earth and sea for their wisdom.
All of them know that the Lord's hand made them.
It is God who directs the lives of His creatures;
everyone's life is in his power."
Daily Intention
Blessed Virgin Mary, who through your faith and obedience loosed the knot tied for the human race by Eve's sin,
remember now God's children who do not believe in your Son and what He has done for them. Examine the knots of pride, arrogance, bitterness and cynicism that keep unbelievers from seeing God, and together with Saint Thomas the Apostle, undo these knots, opening their eyes to faith. Let your grace warm and soften their hearts and open their ears to hear the Gospel.
Lastly, Mother, show me where I have lacked compassion for understanding of these poor souls, and lend me your humility toward them, for I too am wounded by unbelief.

Concluding Prayer
Powerful Mother who unties our knots,
hear these prayers and the prayers of all the faithful.
Intercede for my brothers and sisters, and with your influence,
loose the entanglements and knots which hold them captive.
Forgive the human race for its unbelief
and lead us all to faith in your Son, Jesus Christ the Lord.
Last of all, most Blessed Virgin, pray for me ,
who is most in need of your grace and mercy.
Untie the knots in my own heart and in my own life,
and free me to love as Christ loves.
