Sempermom

The friendship of mothers is best realize as we pray for each other in the vocation we share. We are daughters of the New Eve. It is Mary who waits for us, journeys with us, cries with us, laughs with us, teaches us, and prays with us. As we retire in the evenings, may we find joy in knowing that, we may be someone's mother by day, but by night, we sleep in peace as her daughters, first.

Journey to the Our Lady of Angels Shrine

After 28 1/2 years of marriage, to include serving in 10 dioceses, 12 parishes and 3 military chapels, we have finally retired to where we have often come on pilgrimage over the years~A place set apart from the hustle and bustle of suburbia, USA.

The first time we traveled to the The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament was for the first Easter Vigil Mass in April 2000.  John was tucked away safely under my heart, not due to arrive until August that year.

We all gathered this year for our first family reunion.  Our seven children and three grand babies all came home to celebrate the gift of family.

We offer Thanksgiving for this gift of time together and look to the year ahead, prepared for the abundant blessings that will guild our pathways home, together one day again.
