The friendship of mothers is best realize as we pray for each other in the vocation we share. We are daughters of the New Eve. It is Mary who waits for us, journeys with us, cries with us, laughs with us, teaches us, and prays with us. As we retire in the evenings, may we find joy in knowing that, we may be someone's mother by day, but by night, we sleep in peace as her daughters, first.

Prayer of Stewardship in the Lord
(Jason at The Gettysburg Battle Field in Pa
and Fort Zachary in Key West, Florida)

My Lord, Jesus,

My heart is on fire to serve You.
This flame begins each morning
as I give my heart and will over
to all that You will permit to happen to me.
As I plan to build You a temple each day in my works,
may I be attentive to what it is
that would please You most.
Gather my pebbles of humility and my stones of humiliations,
all, as the building material of my own worship space.
Allow me to fail in ministry,
if that failure weakens false pride and
strengthens my need to rest in Your love.
If ministry is to serve Your will,
than allow me to advance the fire of Your love
through all that You ask of me.
May You increase where I walk.
May I decrease where You dwell.
Amen.

"I desire no consolation that would deprive me of contrition,
nor do I aspire to any contemplation that might lead me to pride."
"Be assured of this, that you must live a dying life.
And the more completely a man dies to self,
the more he begins to live to God. "
No man is fit to understand heavenly things,
unless he is resigned to bear hardships for Christ's sake".
